Latest news from the Harrow Club

Hello,

The last few weeks have been busy and exciting as we celebrated Windrush Day with a community tea party and cricket day at Laytmer Upper School playing fields, where we enjoyed fun activities, great food and lively music.  We had a great turn out for both events and it would not have been possible without the help from our partners and volunteers.

Thank you for your incredible support!

A huge thank you to all those that supported the Big Give campaign, helping us to raise a grand total of £113,402. This will enable us to provide young people with a jam-packed holiday programme across our London youth clubs and will also include day trips outside of London.  We will keep you updated on all the fantastic activities that will be taking place over the summer.

The Long Ducker cycle ride
The Long Ducker cycle ride was recently completed by Rima and Mark Tremlett, two Harrow School teachers, who cycled across Europe from South to North, starting March 30th and finishing 17th June.  It was an incredible achievement and we would like to say a big thank you for raising funds to support the Harrow Club.

If you would also like to join the Long Duckers in getting some miles in and raising money for Harrow Club, please keep Sunday 4th September in your diary.  Harrow School will be holding their Long Ducker bike ride and sign-ups are now open – the event is open to all ages and all levels of cyclists.  To find out more and sign up click here.

Mont Blanc mountain climb challenge
We are delighted to announce that Arthur Lintell, from Knight Frank Westbourne Park, is climbing Mont Blanc at the end of July to raise funds for the Harrow Club – it is a huge challenge so please do support him: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/art-lintell

Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, and safe summer break – Staff, Trustees and Volunteers from the Harrow Clubs.
