Thank you to everyone who donated to our laptop appeal
Hello,
We thought you would like to know how we are getting on with our laptop appeal. We have been amazed by the generosity our supporters have shown and on behalf of the children and families who have benefited we would like to say a massive thank you! Watch our thank you video here.
We have now setup and distributed around half of the 97 laptops purchased, with the rest going out over the next week. A huge thank you to Barratt Developments Plc who purchased 50 devices for us, as well as the Kensington + Chelsea Foundation who provided an additional 8 laptops for use across our clubs.
We have ensured that each laptop has a fully activated copy of Microsoft Office 2019 on them and other essentials, such as a good anti-virus suite. The donated devices are also being set up to go out to families.
Mrs Picken, Parents & Community Co-ordinator, from Miles Coverdale Primary school said “this donation of laptops meant that all pupils who still needed a device for lessons will now have one, following delays in the government procurement scheme.”
We will write to you all again in a few weeks with some more short clips and photos we are collating from some of the many families who will benefit.
