CORONAVIRUS COVID-19
Emergency Contingency Provision Outline
(Version 1) Following a temporary closure of our building and youth provisions on Tuesday 17th evening our Trustees and staff team have been discussing ways to continue support our members and further how we can contribute to the wider community effort in alleviating the consequences that are unfolding during this rapidly escalating health emergency. Our response will be guided by three key considerations: 1) Following Government and Public Health England advice and rules 2 Following our own risk assessing in keeping the young people, families and our staff and volunteers as safe as possible, especially those with health conditions of in a demographic deemed at elevated risk from Covid-19 3) Providing provision within the financial and resource means of the organisation, which are likely to deteriorate over the coming months due to a loss of building hire revenue and community event income We are envisaging that our current programmes and service provision may not be able to resume for many months and therefore we are setting out short- and medium-term plans to contribute to our aims and charitable objectives. Short-term (moving forward for the next 12 weeks) Medium-term We are currently surveying our members on what problems and issues are already appearing for them and will continue to update this contingency plan in light of this feedback as well as recommendations from our staff team and in line with the work other local agencies and organisations.
