Chelsea Youth Club

The main aims of the club are to work with local disadvantaged and socially excluded young people to help improve their self-confidence and increase their opportunities.

We opened in July 2020 after a period with no youth provision based on the estate. We have quickly built up a membership of more than 60 young people and have run holiday activities, including off-site activities which was especially needed after the coronavirus lockdown of Spring 2020.

We connect with young people through a variety of methods and settings, that enable them to maximise their life chances and personal development goals.

We do this by assessing young people’s needs through surveys, user forums and outreach programmes, and then we deliver projects and programmes to meet these needs. Our youth committee is also essential to help us develop our programme.
