Our Youth Worker Training Courses provide young people (16+) and adults with a high-quality, accredited programme of training and work experience; all delivered using informal education and practical experiences.

Course Details
Level 1 Course in Exploring Youth Work – a first opportunity to understand what youth work has to offer in terms of its overall delivery and in relation to future work in the sector. It is open to 16yrs+ who may be developing senior member work in their own centres, and adults – particularly those newly recruited as volunteers in youth organisations.
Level 2 Certificate in Youth Work Practice – a youth work qualification on the RQF. It is the minimum qualification required for those wishing to work as a JNC Qualified Assistant Youth Support Worker or Volunteer.
Level 3 Certificate is designed to develop and support the knowledge, understanding and skills necessary to fulfil the role of a Youth Support Worker/ Worker in Charge within a work or volunteering placement.
Level 3 Conversion – a course route for those who wish to convert their existing Level 2 Certification Qualification to a Level 3 Certificate. This is only open to those who have successfully completed the new Level 2 Qualification which started in April 2015.
Level 3 – a Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement – for those who already have a L3 Certificate in Youth Work, and now wish to seek work as a Youth Work Course Assessor.
All Learners must allow personal time to build a portfolio of work-based evidence which is submitted to assessors for review and assessment.

Indicative Course Costs
Level 1 Certificate in Youth Work Practice: £500.00 per learner
Level 2 Certificate in Youth Work Practice: £1150.00 per learner
Level 3 Certificate in Youth Work Practice: £1350.00 per learner
Level 2 to Level 3 Conversion Course: £900.00 per learner ( a discount
will be offered to L2 Graduates of our Centre)
Level 3 Certificate in Vocational Assessment: £850.00 per learner

Please download the relevant Course Information Booklets and the application form for the course you are applying for and submit them ASAP. Bursaries are available for some courses. Check the information booklets to see if this applies to your course and then follow the instructions for signing up to Partnerships for Young London.
If your application is accepted, you will receive an invitation to an interview in March. Courses due to commence in April.
